Well written characters and actually trying to develop them is a lost art.
Most new shows are simply slap stick at this point or looking for shock value. It’s honestly why Frasier was such a great show. You felt you knew the characters and who they were and had become.
Art in simplicity.

My favorite sitcom of all time. I had a friend in college and GW was his uncle. Came to graduation and was a chill guy.
