May he and his skinny mic rest in peace.

Now hanging out with his best friend Don Rickles in the big comedy club in the sky

Nooooooooooooooooo!
Oh man.
RIP to a comedy GIANT.
It occurs to me that his comedy style dies with him because Americans don’t talk like that anymore.

He was great in that role. BBT gets shite on too much IMO.

Am I the only one who thinks, not of his sitcoms, but his brilliant standup routines?
"King Kong"
Even if the sitcoms had never happened, he would still be remembered for his standup work.

Larry, Daryll and Daryll amazing how many of us remember that!
Even more amazing: he was funny (at least on TV) without being dirty or profane.
He was one half of the greatest final of a comedy show of all times. Now he and Suzanne can roll over and go to sleep.

Had two hit shows and possibly one of the best endings to series ever (ending of his second Newhart series).
His 1960 album "The Button-down Mind of Bob Newhart" was #1 on the charts for 14 weeks. Recorded live at the Tidelands Club in Houston.
Also, he inadvertently created one of the greatest drinking games ever - Hi Bob!

His show "Newhart" had arguably the greatest series finale of all time.

Reunited with his bud. RIP Bob
