Thoughts?

The 90 would be tempting to me if they offered a manual transmission.

Loaded with electronics

Looks so much better with the eyeballs off.

Depends on the price. Cost of a G wagon? No thanks.

I prefer the old Defender. That looks like an LR3.

Love me some Top Gear or whatever it’s called now.

The episode when they were in telluride was one of the funniest things I’ve seen on TV.

Did he say it was built in the Slovak Republic? I mean, everything well build comes from there right?

4 cylinder powertrain? “All new” Land Rover electronics? Slovakia factory?

I want to like it, but I think it’s a piece of shite like the LR3 was when it came out. And this is an LR3, not a Defender. They screwed up the Discovery so badly that they needed a spiritual replacement.

Sight unseen - I would probably buy the new 2021 Bronco over this thing. I would probably buy the new 2021 Z71 Tahoe over this thing. Or the Wrangler Rubicon. If Toyota ever invested in the 4Runner, I’d probably buy that before this thing too.

Rolling bucket of shite right there. Should break down right after warranty is up.

Sadly, the original and much loved Defender 90 and 110 were also shipped “pre-rusted”.

The Brits never had the cash to do it right. The Japanese and Americans were always better at delivering operational trucks - few with the character of the old Defender.

Actually. I liked the photo in OP, but looking at others, not really a fan.
