Men, in general- very generalized generalization-- depend less on emotional connections as a basis of sexual desire.
To not put to fine a point on it-- if its warm, wet, willing, and will shut up for 10 minutes, and has a visual and texture based appeal, they'll stick it in without much additional thought. If it doesn't talk back, and is low maintenance? Sheesh.
Women require a bigger buy in; aside from raw physical need/desire, they can't just plug and play nearly so much as men. Artificial intelligence able to engage in wooing is going to have to catch up to cosmetic design, before women will be as engaged.
Women might never make up more than a sliver of robot sex, but men will make up for it in volume.
