Whoever handled casting extras for that show did great. So many of the random people like this guy were hilarious.
On the other hand, those famous "short shorts" were hard to look at.

Fair enough. Maybe I should have clarified. After the spawn of social media, I'd guess a certain percentage thought that it was real, but not a majority.

Agreed with your opinion. I don't consider myself gullible, but I really thought it was real! Very well written script and great acting!

When you see an extra with their face blurred out, most of the time it was one of the main cast members. The “extra” in this clip is Cedric Yarbrough (Deputy Jones)
