Some a-hole called the cops on people playing singles at our tennis club every single day for 6 months. All benches, water coolers, score keepers and shared facilities were closed off or removed. We just got the water coolers back this summer when people started dropping from the heat. Cops stopped by randomly throughout the day to make sure people weren’t standing together anywhere or :gasp: playing doubles.
Heaven forbid people get exercise outdoor with more than enough social distancing present to stay healthy.

I was saying this the other day and had a thought. How come we have never discussed it being released by a lone psycho? That theory has never been discussed to my knowledge and is certainly plausible. We had the cyanide Tylenol guy and the Anthrax mailer in recent history. Who is to say some lone wolf nut case at the Wuhan Lab didn't release this thing on purpose for some reason?
That is also a major possibility, and why I'm very fearful of highly advanced 3D printers. One scientist once deliberately 3D printed horsepox (which doesn't do shite to humans) and intentionally infected himself just to show that it could be done. Now what happens if some psychopath just happens to get their hands on the genome to smallpox or something even worse, like say something they're working on in that lab? Just go home, 3D print it, infect yourself, and then go walk inside a crowded mall or go to an indoors concert and you've just orchestrated an apocalypse.

I fell for it in the first month. While I was immediately appalled by disrupting the supply lines, I may have been down for the 15 days just to be safe. After that wasn't putting up with it, and then when Fauci admitted to lying about the masking, I really wasn't having it.

Like a pilot who crashes a commercial plane. Can easily happen.

Look at this latest failure of an attempt to deflect blame from the shitty people and moronic policies you are stupid enough to vote for.

Speaking of revisionist history...
- "My lockdowns saved 2 millions lives" Donald Trump during the 2nd debate
- Criticized GA Gov for ending lock down "too soon" in May 2020
“I love those people that use all of those things — the spas, the beauty parlors, barbershops, tattoo parlors,” Mr. Trump said on Wednesday. “I love them. But they can wait a little bit longer, just a little bit — not much, because safety has to predominate.”
- Trump's COVID task force was still recommending states go back into lockdown during fall 2020

Took all the rakes and put cut pieces of pool noodles in the hole so as not to touch the pin on golf courses. Un fricking believable.

Well said, beat me to it.
And for the record, I’m not even blaming Trump for feeling that way - nobody in the world batted 1.000 on COVID - but this revisionist history and blaming the big bad left for everything is just absolute horse shite.

the silver lining is that there is going to be a strong pushback from the right AND moderate dems if the government tries to do anything similar to this in the future.
I'm not so sure about this...^^^

That children lost a solid year of education because teacher's unions are full of lazy pieces of shite who didn’t want their extended summer vacations to end.
FIFY. I don't think it's possible to lose more respect for entire industries overall than I lost for medical and education. Doctors and teachers deserve their share of blame for this shite too.
