North Park in Denham Springs had great slides and swings. They seemed really big when I was a kid.

Wildwood Elementary in the 70s/80s had some medieval shite. Even the one for the youngest kids was a gauntlet of rusted metal w remnants of lead paint.

Fellow Shreveport peeps all remember the rocket at Betty Virginia Park. Reaching the top was rite of passage as a child.
