We had an old Betamax player, a type of video machine similar to VHS but smaller tapes, for those that dont know. I somehow discovered that I could "fine tune" some knobs on it if it was on the playboy station and it would bring it in pretty damn clear!

I was a young teen in the mid-1980’s.
Porn was damn near impossible to find, especially if your dad didn’t have any and you didn’t have an older brother.
We used to ride our bikes to 7-11 and get a bum (or anyone older) to buy a Hustler for us. Offer em $10 and tell them to keep the change. We ended getting beer the same way 2 or 3 years later.

I had an entire collection under my bed. Forgot about it when I moved out. Im sure my dad was happy to find his and my uncles playboys from the 80s all fricked up

Anybody ever had a programmed satellite receiver card ? Every porn channel at your viewing pleasure. Had one at the hunting camp and all of my teenage cousins never wanted to go hunting anymore just stay at the camp and “sleep in”

My cable system those days did not carry the hard core stuff so you had to make do with the scrambled HBO or Cinemax soft core stuff. Two or three times a year you would get lucky and the channels got unscrambled for free preview weekends.
Then digital cable ruined that rabbit hole of scrambled soft core porn. But it did usher in the hard core channels though that you could order.
My favorite discussion on porn ordering has to be Howard Stern giving Artie a hard time over his cable bill.
