I would love to know what makes all the other dogs so afraid of him

It’s so awesome that he just wants other dogs to chill the frick out. It’s not like he’s walking around being an a-hole and probably never starts trouble.

Scrims dad is a mean mother fricker

I used to have two big ole male lab mixes and a little shitty looking terrier that weighed about 15 lbs. The two big dogs would fight anything but they never fricked with the terrier because he was quick enough to latch on to their nuts. The terrier would bow up and the other two dogs would kiss arse real quick.

It’s cool but he’s barking within the first few seconds of that video

Honest answer, he was likely the oldest when the first arrived. The rest all fall in line.
We always had all females as farm dogs, one old bitch would set the tone for her entire life. As long as no males were introduced, they would keep the same order for 15 years.
Edit: the corso above is still a young pup. That breed, a real catahoula, and a damned yorkie might be the proudest breeds on the planet. One for size, one for sheer stupidity and will, and one because women treat them like kings.

Agree. He likely sets the tone quickly upon a newbie being introduced. And word gets around.

In Iraq, packs of 20-30 dogs were pretty common. We would always watch them when on patrol. There was always an alpha and always a bitch. It was kinda sad, but that's nature.

That dog would be teaching Cesar instead of Cesar teaching the dog.

That dude has seen some stuff
We adopted a dog - he was a mix but looked close to a purebred Golden. His backstory was having lived in a barn/shed with his golden-ish siblings and a bunch of pit bulls for 4 years. He was a pretty guy, but he had scars (he got attacked again the day we were going to get him and it delayed the adoption).
He looked like an all American golden, but he was a street dog at heart and would submit dogs at the dog park who played too hard like this dog would. He would also tag you if you got too excited watching football next to me or my wife, pretty sure he bit all of our friends at one point. My friends called him "Murda" (his name was Archie)
RIP

Is that a shelter or someone's back yard?
