Remember that big economic collapse about a decade ago

It’s hard to remember so long ago but I think it was around 2008 or so, was the end of Lehman Brothers, And a bunch of financial and we were just a step away from a complete collapse of our economic system. I seem to remember the public had to spend trillions to save all the big investment banks, and millions lost their jobs. Whatever happened with all that, anyone ever go to jail, did banks ever change their practices of investing in super risky junk, did anyone change their compensation packages so they they were simply rewards short term profit, and discounting long term risk, did they pass any regulations on all this, or do anything at all......

No one went to jail. Neither Bush administration nor obama Administration put anyone in jail. The financial reform passed by Congress (democrat majority) bails out the too big to fail banks.

if you are trying to get at that most of the posters are only focused on superficial things, then come out and say that. You dhould just say that we got hosed and Wall Street won and now we are continuing to get hosed because thr Federal Reserve purchased the Stock Market in April, etc and all we are focused on is Orange Man tweets and Bubba Wallace....I'm with you.
