Registered Nurses of the OT, questions about the NCLEX?

My youngest sister's birthday is Saturday and she is taking the NCLEX in two weeks. She recently did the Hurst Review. Are there any other books or study material you would recommend prior to her taking it? Trying to get her a birthday present that is also useful. She's stressing like crazy about the NCLEX.

Somebody’s been checking out bored at work threads.

The Hurst does a great job. Study those notes and practice online test. I answered every damn one of those questions before the computer shut off. frick that test.

Amazing sex eyes to go along with everything else that is working, I love her

This is such a sweet gesture!
Maybe I’m way off base, but two weeks seems like a really short time for her to go through a new book and get your money’s worth.
If you don’t find a helpful study aid, get her a gift card for a mani/pedi and a massage to help her relax.
Either way, best of luck to her!

Give her a Starbucks gift card to give her a caffeine to study.

Buy her a Uworld subscription. You can download an app for your phone and answer questions whenever you want. That’s all I did for the test, answered about 1200 of them in a week or 2, got about 65% of the uworld questions right, and the nclex shut off at 75 questions for me

Hurst review helps a lot. But the NCLEX is pretty wide ranging. I was pretty weak on the endocrine system. Thankfully, my test was lots more psych related so I didn’t have any problem. By talking to other people, I found that they were tested largely in med surge or fundamentals. No two tests are alike.
You either have a pretty good grasp of the overall material or you don’t. I thought that I’d failed miserably when the test shut off after the minimum number of questions. That was a long drive home. Got the results a few weeks later informing me that I passed. Proud day. I was under a house rebuilding their duct system when the wife brought the envelope and we opened it together.

My wife and I are both nurses. I had 67 on my test and she had to take them all. Hurst is great, and it's all I'd recommend she uses. My university made us use ATI and that was a huge waste of time. Tell her to focus on her weakest areas and review those in the Hurst book

About half the nurses I've ever come in contact with seem to be functional retards so if she's competent I'd assume she'll be fine

You can always hire me to tutor her. I can supply the adderall to make sure she has plenty energy and is able to focus on the task at hand.
Also, I know next to nothing about nursing aside from the fact that there are a lot of hot ones.

As previously stated, Hurst review is all you need. There is such a thing as having too much to study. She gives hints and tips, tell her to pay attention to those.
One tip she gave was if you know that the last question you answered before it shut off you answered correctly, then you passed. It was true and I still remember that question to this day.

As someone who's taken standardized tests that have about a 40% pass rate, I disagree

I wouldn’t buy her a book only 2 weeks away.
Long ago when I took it I couldn’t afford the $300 for Hurst review. Bought an NCLEX book and studied it for like 2 months and passed my first try.
She will be fine if she studied.
Also....there are apps now she can download on her phone and do practice questions

Well as usual, you're retarded. You can absolutely overstudy for something. Is your Google broken?
