For your questions.
Best Buy, Home Depot or Lowes.
They finance and they have a great selection.
No LG or GE.

Warranty. You may get a year.

If you're not in a hurry, there's a place I ordered from back in the spring. No sales tax and free shipping, plus the prices were a few hundred below buying local. Goedeker's is the store. They're based in Missouri and have a good selection. Plus you can finance at 0% interest.

I have a 4 yr old LG OP. It cost about $1500 and has been a total piece of shite. Stay away from them.

random question...

i have a GE profile

the water lines pressure is terrible coming out of the water dispenser and the ice cubes are smaller. This has occurred for the longest time now. We've changed out the water filter, don't know what to replace now. I had an appliance guy swap out some part that the water line ran to at the bottom of refrigerator and it didn't fix anything. Any thoughts?

eta: its even bad when i put the filter bypass plug in too, no better.

I remember being at a convention in a LG class and they unveiled the linear compressor and everyone just booed. I mean, yeah a linear compressor is a lot more quiet than a reciprocating compressor (think screw pump vs piston pump) but the seals are shite.

I can't say how many times I came across one with a cold compressor (should be hot) that was running.
Cost me $400 to fix it, so it'll cost the customer $650.

I'm not fixing anything on this one. If something breaks before I'm ready to replace it it's going to the curb.

As others have said GE = POS, I've got one and can speak from experience not rumor.

The water filter housing.

Try hooking the two lines to the water filter together. See if pressure increases. Sounds like you got a new inlet valve. So it's either filter, housing or low pressure from supply.

I would also say partially frozen reservoir, but that wouldn't affect ice maker.

What are your thoughts on Thermador brand/fridges? Money aside, worth it?
