I have a few trees in the backyard that need to go.

Ain't nobody got time for that

note to self: be higher than the limb you are cutting.

Are you in city limits? I recently found out that you have to get a City Engineers approval to remove a tree. I thought my buddy was bullshitting me but he wasn't. There are significant fines.
This was in Old Mandeville but I would make a call before you cut regardless.

Get out there with some buddies and do it yourself

Just use a saw with a counter weight.

I've used Ziegler tree removal multiple times and have been pleased every time

Second for Ziegler. I was told they would be the most expensive by people, but I had 6 companies come out and quote and they were actually the cheapest. And they did fantastic work. Cleaned everything up, protected my grass. Would most definitely use them again.
