Stone creek all the way.

Ita called your ever day getaway for a reason.

The childcare is phenomenal.

The staff is professional and courteous.

The members are nice as well.

Perfect for families.

You are going to question yourself: does this efficient operation with attention to detail really exist in Louisiana? Am I in Louisiana?

While Stone Creek would really be ideal since we live less than 5 mins from there, I just cant see myself paying that kind of price for a gym. I think if I was big on tennis then I could see it. Im sure I'll get the OT poors comment but I cant see paying 235 a month plus an 850 dollar enrollment fee. But the atmosphere is obviously part of the cost so I get that.

That's ridiculous.

My local Y has an indoor Olympic size swimming pool, a brand new gym, indoor soccer fields, yoga rooms, you name it, and it's $38 per month. And you get child care.

why can't you work out a schedule where childcare isn't a requirement? God damn. Not difficult. Do you and your wife have to hold hands on the treadmill?

Looking for childcare bc Im never consistantly home by a certain time in the evenings. Every so often its 630pm, most days its 730-900. When should she work out if Im getting home at 900?

Sounds like she should workout in the AM and you PM. It can't be this difficult.

When my wife first approached me about it, I said the same thing. She convinced me for a single membership. I went a few times and I was hooked. It is costly but you have another avenue to take the kids for fun. Locker rooms, amenities are nice. Pool in the summer is a hit. I invite you to take a tour of it to see if it interests you. I don't play tennis.

They capped the members at about 5000, which is far less than comparable sized gyms. You won't have to wait for availability on machines, etc.

They provide tours all the time for interested members.

PAC has child care and the gym I would recommend going to. Located in Mandeville though

Stone Creek is the newest and in Covington. Definitely the nicest, but caters more to the middle aged house wife. Weight room is severely lacking which is why I do not go there despite living only a couple miles away.

Franco's or Pelican Athletic. Both in mandy land but they are probably the best you can get. Stone Creek is anti-child

I had a membership when I was living in Mandeville, I enjoyed it and my kids enjoyed it there.

Ymca Covington is probably your best choice with your criteria.
