Recommend some house shoes. Waterproof/resistant and soft liner.

Comfortable enough to wear around the house but good to walk around the yard or to the mailbox when it's a bit wet outside. Not too hot like some fur lined ones are though.

Why would you wear your house shoes outside? Wouldn't that defeat the purpose and drag dirt, water, etc. back into the house?
