Recommend me a toaster that doesn't suck.

My wife and I got this piece of shite from Waring as a wedding gift almost five years ago:
Thing has always sucked. Doesn't matter what settings you use or where you turn the knob, the thing pops whenever the hell it feels like it. No consistency to the toast. I have literally burnt still-frozen food.
My wife has clung dearly to this thing for years, constantly reminding me that it was a wedding gift that we should cherish, despite my repeated objections. Neither of us even remembers who got it for us, and it's not like any of our guests give a shite either. It's a toaster. It has one job that it performs exceptionally shittily.
A new toaster was one of like three things I wanted for Christmas. Obviously I didn't get one because nobody buys fricking toasters for Christmas.
But I'm a man with some degree of financial independence now. I'm gonna go buy a new toaster today because I can. But first I'm gonna toss this hunk of garbage in the pond outside my apartment.
TL;DR: recommend me a toaster that isn't garbage.

Toasters are cheap just go buy another if toasting is your only concern.

Honestly, I have never owned a toaster that sucked, and I have never spent more than maybe $20 on a new one.

I bought a $20 toaster from Target over five years ago.
It's a toaster, not a car.

I mean, op could've ordered one from amazon in less time than it took to type out his post.

I mostly wanted to bitch about my spouse clinging to shite that doesn't work.

Who in the hell still eats toast? What are you, 9?

You can literally buy a toaster at any basic store...Walgreens, CVS, any of the dollar stores. They're around 10-15 bucks. Now if you want a 4 slice toaster you'll have to go to a bigger store like Walmart. However, it's just a toaster, don't make it difficult. And put your wife in check....no one cherishes a toaster.

It means a lot to your wife to hang on to this toaster. Get the toaster you want to use and put this one aside. When spring comes, fill it with dirt and plant a bunch of flower seeds in it.
Winning.

Get the breville toaster oven. Not only does it toast great, you will use it for 100 other things. We use ours at least 2 times a day. It toasts my English muffins perfectly each day. LINK

Ask your landlord Mr Roper next time you see him at the Regal Beagle.

I'm the one who have you the toaster. Candidly, I re- gifted it. You have my permission to cut it loose.
What do you and your wife have against thank you notes, a-hole?
