It's "absolutely unimaginable" that someone who had tomove to a new location due to previous drug use could relapse? Ok

From what I understand there is a lot more to this.
He was running from the cops so yea alot more to this, like he was doing something illegal.

No he doesnt play.

Sheriff Cobb tried to pull the guy over, but it was hard to do because he was swerving through 4 lanes of traffic at about 100 mph. He called for backup at that point.

Like I've posted before, there were a TON of people at the funeral for the 3 year old boy at the South end of town where this lunatic was driving towards. He actually came very close to hitting a pregnant wife of a deputy who was crossing highway 15 to pay respects at the funeral.

When the state police contacted the deceased's family, their first question was "are the officers okay?"

The deceased man, according to his family, had been extremely "disconnected" recently and had told them his radio "was talking to him."

The FPSD officers did ALL they could before they killed him, including pitting his car 3 times and shooting out tires.

My very close relative was looking in the man's eyes as he died. It really has affected him since Christmas Eve, not really what he wanted to see that morning, considering the rest of our family was gathered together celebrating the day.

True. But I think he meant in a conversational sense.

It's unimaginable that he would behave that way unless he relapsed and was on a serious drug and alcohol relapse.

Morbid, two questions:

Do you own a car that you would drive 100 mph in the wrong lane through a small town on Christmas Eve day?

Would you try and run over 4 sheriff deputies with it?

I hope your very close relative wasn't as callous in recounting the story as you are.

Actually he's been quite humbled by the experience.

FYI, I'm not callous, my man. Just factual. I'm sorry you lost a friend/acquaintance, actually. I realize the man had friends and family that are grieving. Truly I am sorry.

Trust me, when I got to my Dad's for Christmas and was told my close relative had been invloved in a shooting (when I had just seen him 10 minutes before) and I had to go tell his 5 kids about it, it affected me too.

I mean it's totally unimaginable that an addict would ever relapse... I just can't believe it.

And the other guy is one of the cops' family member. Neither of you have too much credibility. But his story makes sense and explains what happened rather than "He seemed nice 5 years ago".

I never said it was unimaginable that he would relapse.
