What item do you consider your single biggest win? Not from this lot but since you've been doing this. I enjoy your posts and hope you continue.

Percentage wise, it was a graded Gem Mint 10 - 1982 Donrus Nolan Ryan. I paid 25¢, sold for $200 (800:1 payout)

Money wise, I have two:
Pair of AR-5 speakers. Paid $300 sold for ~$1600

Bought two chess sets made by Anri for $700, sold for $1800

The bottle of bourbon maybe my greatest if it sells for what they are expecting, $1400-$1600. I paid $10

I am going to piggyback on your thread. I have sold 218 items for $11K on eBay since November 1st and 269 items for $14K over the last 90 days

This is stuff I have found over the years people left behind in repo houses that I had in storage so my cost is $0

And a ton more cards, albums, and loose old retro games

Bought these in a package from a going out of business store for $25. It had other stuff I sold and gave away

Paid $5 at an estate sale. Sold same day

Paid $5 at an estate sale

Paid $3 at an estate sale

Paid $15 at a flea market

Paid $150 on a Goodwill auction

Paid $30 at garage sale

Paid $20 at a flea market. Sold the same day

Paid $10 at garage sale

Paid $10 each at Goodwill

Paid $5 each at an estate sale

And a ton more.

I still have over 100 items listed and about 50 more to list when I get more time. A lot of it is stuff I accumulated over the years from repo houses I manage and/or bought. People leave behind a lot of stuff which is weird to me.

But the rest I bought and flipped and your threads inspired me to try it. It's fun. Thanks

Yea I don't find rare enough stuff for auctions like you do. I do better with BIN and starting high then taking offers

Not only do I get a thrill of the hunt, I like the thrill of the auction. They are not as great as they were 10+ years ago.

I get that. You and I just have different mindsets and neither are wrong. I am looking at it from a strictly business perspective so I want to ensure it makes some money. I like the hunt but after that, I am trying to max out what it returns and I see BIN as the best way to do that.

Also, keep in mind that I started another business a few months ago selling stuff on Amazon and Walmart and my guest house is basically a warehouse now so all of it is lumped in as a side business in my mind.

How is it advertising by showing what’s sold for(besides 3 things with bids on them)?
