I think it’s the shitty computerized pumps.
I miss the old flip the metal bar over and watch the analog numbers roll. Those pumps could pump some volume.
Then the damn government got involved, and the vent system in fuel tanks can't take in fuel at near the rate it could at the time you speak of.
So it had to be regulated...key word... regulated.
fricking cars have become ridiculously over-engineered due to bureaucrats and idiots who think they need to drive their living room around with them wherever they go, if only for 10 minutes to the grocery store.

You can't even buy a reasonably priced, no frills vehicle any more.
What if I DON'T WANT all the extra features for my so-called "safety and security and convenience"?
What if I DO WANT a simple reliable vehicle that does not try to drive itself, tell me how to drive, or make some damn noise every time I get within 10 feet of something?
Absolutely ridiculous that you can't buy a car that starts with a mechanical key (without a damn chip in it), and you actually put it in gear and pay attention to driving the damn thing until you get where you are going.

Here come the tards who say it’s not that great whilst simultaneously spending time at the Waffle House at 2am.

Listen to this man. I don’t even like a lot of breakfast food and this thing was awesome.

Just stopped at the Bucc-ee’s for the first time in Auburn Al. Pretty impressive! Pork sandwich was good. Shitter’s clean! And I feel great for Auburn, now their graduates have someplace to get a job.

To the Japanese at least, it's probably like a slow mid-day train ride in a minor Tokyo station so they don't mind.

The grade school my kids go to have to do a project on a Texas landmark or historical person every year for Texas State Fair Day. They dress up, write an essay, set up a tri-board- you get the idea. Every year there are at least 10 that do buc-ees. These are fun for the family to attend, we usually get free samples of beaver nuggets, mini cans of Dr P’s and sometimes some Goode Co BBQ while some kid dressed as ZZ Top plays the guitar on stage. Damn I love Texas.

I think Buccees model gives Americans hope that the US is still capable of producing excellence in certain areas. Maybe Buccees and Chikfila can help lead the way to a brighter American future.

We experienced our first Buccee visit this past April on I-10 east of Mobile, AL. It was an exhilarating experience. Especially if you have to take a shite.

A lot of pumps out of order? That’s surprising. Bucees is usually on top of everything

Just don't expect to find a chair anywhere in Buccee's. They don't want you to sit down, get comfortable, or rest. They want you to be up walking around, buying stuff.
