Levi boot cut or straight leg … wash them in cold water on gentle cycle… skip the spin cycle… hang’em up let them dry… 15 minutes on low heat in the dryer… you shouldn’t wash them but 2 to 3 times a year

An upvote because I wish I could wear jeans. They either look, stupid on me or feel like crap. I'm just a shorts year around type of loser

frick jeans. I don’t understand why so many people like wearing them. They’re uncomfortable to wear.

On a message board asking for opinions on blue jeans. I have no doubt you will. Jesus “men” these days are soft AF!

Levi's 501. Order online. They are higher quality than you will find at an outlet or retail stores like dillards or Belk. Also, pay a little more and get the Made and Crafted or Vintage. Brave Star makes some very high quality selvedge denim from old stock Cone Mills denim, same as made in the USA Levi's used to be. Sugar Cane 1947 or Momotaro if you want higher end than than those.

Wrangler retro slim straight leg. Been wearing them for years. Have turned all my buddies and friends sons on to them. 60 bucks at academy or cavendars.

Cowboy boots?
Starched and creased wranglers are the standard fare for dressy occasions, or any other occasion.

I’m not quite sure what constitutes “nice jeans” (jeans are jeans to me) or what would or would not be appropriate for dinner (if there is any question of whether or not you should wear jeans to dinner then it is not appropriate to do so). But after searching all kinds of brands at various price points I came back to Levi’s 527 boot cut. Widely available. Reasonably priced. Numerous color choices.
The only downside is the fit can be inconsistent. Moreso in the inseam

McDonald's or Five Guys for your dinner?
If you mean a nice restaurant for dinner, then I don't understand the "nice jeans" part... get some frickin' pants and wear them. Not jeans. There's no such thing as "dress jeans", I don't care how much they cost.
Get something like a Peter Millar 5 pocket pant.
