also 2% and lower isn't milk.

2% is just right for me. Not too thick, but definitely still milky.

Skim milk defeats the purpose of drinking milk for me. That I'll agree with.

I've moved completely to almond milks. There are a lot of great varieties...almond,cashew,and coconut blends are what I prefer. It's much better for you if you get the unsweetened kind.

Silk and Almond Breeze are the two biggest. If you want to go premium, then Califia Farms and Malk are the best options.

Who doesn't like a bowl of their favorite cereal with milk?

Or a big glass of milk with Zebra cakes or swiss cake rolls? Come on.

You can freeze it ya know. Save some containers from like sour cream or something, freeze by the measured 1 cup. Have to stir/mix/shake it up once thawed due to the milk solids precipitating though. (one of the reasons I go 2% sometimes, fewer solids, aka, fats.)

During summer the fat content of whole milk has a noticeable effect on me. Slows me down, makes me feel less energetic, seem to sweat easier. Of course I turn 52 tomorrow so age may have something to do with that.

ETA: Other times of the year I may end up with 2% based on price or expiration date.

Well milk IS the gateway for all crime and drug abuse as well as alcoholism. After all, 99% of all criminals, drug addicts, and alcoholics started life drinking milk of some sort or another. Ban the assault milk!

Link?

I can probably count on 1 hand the amount of times I've had milk since it was served from a square pouch in High School. All of these occasions were due to an ex not being able to finish a Lafitte's Vanilla Mudslide.

Screw that. Any brand of almond milk is uppity. You've got to be a terrible person to buy premium almond milk.
