is it a military cargo (?) plane? I saw one flying very low over new orleans east the other day.

No airports in Walker.
There was also a small strip over in Watson back when I was a kid (35+/- years ago), though it may be developed into subdivisions these days.
Also, Barry Seal apparently landed 747s somewhere around here back in the day.
ETA, the Walker North airstrip measures 3,700 feet according to The Google. FYI, it's NE of the intersection of Springfield Rd (1019) and Walker North (447).

Im in BR and felt like it touched the top of my house. I didn’t see it, but definitely wasn’t a small plane based on the rumble of the engines I heard.
