I looked at the poli board for a few minutes, which I don't do often. I'm not a lefty but I'm not going to celebrate the woman's death. To be fair, the vast majority weren't but there are always a few.

you see it on either side of the political fence. Nothing new. Democrats jump for joy when a republican dies

Yeah for the most part they seemed far more concerned with the election now. But the Poli board does seem to have more respect to her than other Dems. You got to give some respect to a woman who's been fighting cancer forever

Problem with the democrats using 2016 as the rule is that they completely murdered a man's reputation to try and stop his nomination. Much worse then what the republicans did to Garland. frick precedent.

R.I.P. to a great leader. She deserves all the respect in the world regardless of your poli board stance

That being said,,,

The fact that an 87 yr old woman who probably shite herself on the daily and didn’t know which phase of her life she was in made decisions that effect the general populace shows how flawed our democracy is

I hate to laugh, but was that really a shock to anyone.

I note that she used the term "installed" instead of "voted in".

Alaska's @lisamurkowski said today she won't confirm a new SCOTUS justice until after the inauguration day. Fair is fair, she says. My colleague @kcgrove will have a story shortly.

Well yeah. But you think those red and blue bought and paid for cronies would ever legislate their term to end to ensure a stronger nation via new thought? They're all shitty. Top to bottom.

And she is known as "liberal", but she was 87. Her liberal philosophy wasn't the extreme liberals you think of today.

She advocated using international law to trump our own constitution you idiot.
