I agree with all of that. I still don’t think a cop should be able to shoot someone running away.

So if a person runs up to someone else and shoots them in front of a cop, but then turns and runs away.

What should happen? The cop just pursues on foot and if he can't catch him, oh well?

This isn't Grand Theft Auto 5 bruh.

killing one while running away from them would be one hell of an accomplishment.

Passing out in a vehicle while in a drive through is also a hell of an accomplishment.

Yet, here we are.

The fact that you’re sitting here defending an ex convict with multiple felony convictions and arrest, was passed out drunk in the drivers seat in a drive thru, resisted arrest, punched a police officer in the face, stole a police officers weapon and fired it at him to intentionally intend harm upon a police officer and are blaming the police officers for not being big enough, tells me all I need to know about you

Would you have rather the police officer kneel on his neck for 8 minutes?

If this was a white guy that was killed, all the Poli board trash here would have destroyed the officer involved.

That’s horseshite and you know it. You’re being dishonest. Conservatives don’t make excuses for whites trash. We don’t make martyrs out of trash. We don’t fricking worship trash like you liberal kooks do. You’d never want to hang with this guy in real life but by golly you’ll exalt him in death.

If someone commits a crime and gets away while being arrested, they need to send social workers to find that person and ask them why their lived experiences may have caused them to react that way. We need to LISTEN to these justice-involved individuals and UNDERSTAND their plight. We need to stop shooting people JUST FOR SLEEPING IN THEIR CAR!

How are all the case numbers the same across a year of crimes

It’s probably his DOC number. Once in the system, it stays the same.

quote:

s? How did he commit a crime in March 2013, for which he was sentenced 7 years, and then committed a crime in March 2014,

Suspended sentencing, or good time behavior. State crimes you only serve 40% (varies by state) for non violent offenses unless aggravated crime.

So if you’re sentenced to 5 years, court may suspend 4 years of it which would mean 1 yr imprisonment, 4 years probation. Of that 1 year, you’d only serve 40% of it actually time so in the scenario I’m describing, about 5 months jail, 7 months parole, then 4 years probation. If violate probation, go back and serve the original sentence with no good time or suspension.

Um, that's what they tried to do.

He resisted arrest. You do know the police arrest you when you fail a DUI test, right?

It’s sad we have to keep justifying this because they keep trying to make these POS into martyrs.

Maybe but the dumbass tried. He even hit one of the officers. It bounced off of his arm.
