I doubt it. The Deke’s at LSU owned their house, and were keeping it vacant out of spite.

The Deke’s at Bama have always owned their house and their property on campus, and made the university pay a kings ransom for the old property when they wanted to expand the stadium.

Rush week at LSU was incredible back in the '80s. The stories of DKE chapter at LSU were glorious - friend's dad was a member way back in the day.

Now that brings back some memories.

"Need some kegs!!!"
"Somebody call Doug!"

What cracked me up Doug always tapped your first keg and drank one or two with you. Looking back you know he did that with everybody and had to be a raging alcoholic.

I just googled them and they are still around!! I'm betting business isn't near as good as it was back in the 80s-90s.

Yup did know that. My BIL and his brother were both DKEs. His son will be a freshmen in the fall. Suicide DKE if there ever was one. Although most were back in my day and mostly NO boys.

He’s saying I lowered my Nissan…I bought my son a car with some of his college savings, since he got a full ride, and that’s what he wanted. I wanted to get him a new two door Bronco with a manual…but he wanted the GR.

I lowered it with springs, put spacers on, tint, some aero on the back glass, upgraded the clutch spring, put hood struts on it, bought a spare for it and a jack, upgraded the shift ball and put clear side markers on it.

He loves it. Great college car.

DG was using it while renovating their house on sorority row. DKE may have agreed to let them use it to grease the skids with LSU for the return to campus.

Most of the fraternities at LSU own their house. Mine did. Its the property they lease from the university. DKEs are the only ones at LSU that own their house and property.

I’m actually glad you’re a different cat Gaston

But the point remains that it’s unsurprising you’d dislike greek life

I was a hippy physics major who went to see live music too much in New Orleans. I was disgustingly preppy in high school and wasn’t wearing khaki pants ever again.
