Forgot about BR High and Parkview, although when I was in school in the early 2000's, I didn't know of BR High as a great school

1. Baton Rouge Magnet High School
2. Episcopal
3. Catholic/ St Joseph

(Put these three in any order you prefer)

4. U High ( a distant 4th)
5. Dunham
6. Parkview Baptist
7. Lee High ( this is a riser)
8. Various private schools some of which may be ranked higher.

1972 grad of Lee High

Recently in town for 45th reunion and was able to take a tour of the "new" Lee High.

Based on this it is going to be one amazing school with all the advantages of technology and the arts. I was literally blown away by the facilities and the staff we were able to meet.

Look for Lee High to become one of the the top 5 schools in the city at the very least soon.

lol what makes it even funnier when dropout rates are factored in.

if EBR didn't have such a huge dropout rate yall would be even lower

Hey, look, a private school grad who doesn't understand the socioeconomic reasons why expensive private schools with selective enrollment will always perform better on standardized metrics.

Catholic and St. Joseph are not on the level with Baton Rouge High and Episcopal.

BR high has been one of the top high schools in La for as long as I can remember. Just looked at top 100 US public high schools and it was ranked 94th

Catholic/ SJS / episcopal / BR High

All these are on the same level when looking across the board at what each offers. Some are better in certain areas..

Pretty sure that turned into a feeder school for the Gables Academy for Juvenile Delinquents. I saw someone post that it is nearly torn down.

Don't confuse being triggered with being bored at the office and wanting to screw with people.

I personally agree with you , but it is debatable and depends on your personal metrics.

As for BRMHS, I have friends who send their kids to Episcopal who are truly convinced that BRMHS is a Remedial war zone .It's not really on their radar because they would never consider a public school because that's where the " poors" go.
