I used to get donuts for the office and would go to the store on Fla. Blvd next to the old Auto King. Kinda off topic, but remember that dude that did that ONE commercial for Walker Transmission forever. Haven’t seen it in a long time.

He's right and you can no longer claim ignorance, so it's flat out racist for you to keep using it moving forward. Your choice.

From KRIS TV. Texas
A Cambodian woman who says she was forced to work up to 19 hours a day at a Rockport business has won a $1.8 million settlement.
During a federal trial, Sophy Treadway said she was forced to work long hours at Rockport Donuts to pay off a debt incurred when she was brought to the United States.
Treadway earned just $75 a month.
The jury found that the donut shop, and couple that owns it, engaged in peonage -- which is where an employer forces a worker to pay off a debt by working for them.
The jury also found the couple engaged in forced labor and trafficking.

There’s a new one on University in Lafayette that’s owned by Asians. I assumed they’re Vietnamese but maybe they’re Cambodian. I’ll have to ask next time.

Dallas donut shops I went to were Asian owned. Nearly every time I go in Sam's I see Asians with those flat carts loaded with bags of flour, sugar, etc, and assume they own one. I commend them. It's the American dream. They own a legitimate business, have their permits and pay taxes.
Ir's also why we have so many illegals trying to cross the border every day.
In Dallas, they have tax free stores in apartment complexes. Most that came in illegally will continue illegal behavior until caught.

The only doughnut shop that matters is Southern Maid on Hearne in Shreveport. They are worth running the risk to being shot when that hot donut sign is on.
