Not really from my childhood since I'm 33, but I still think about this one Twilight Zone episode from time to time..
That robot freaked me out.. also this one:
Where the 'ugly' girl was normal looking and everyone else actually looked like that.

In Search Of. The Honey Island Swamp Monster edisode(s). I was only maybe 6-7yo but I remember we had a piece of property along the AL coast that looked just like where Leonard Nimoy was walking around narrating during the episode. Full of palmettos, some cypress, etc...I recall my dad telling me this is the type of place that the swamp monster likes to live. I was freaked every time I had to go with my dad and help out down there on that property.

And that reminds me of the “boo boo box” from Hook. A pretty nightmarish concept for something in a borderline kids movie.

I saw this comedy sketch one night called "Gas Station Washroom." It was about how nasty and disgusting they are, and whatnot. And for whatever reason it absolutely terrified the ever-living shite out of me. I was seeing things in my house and remember vividly imagining the floor opening up into some sort of portal like in the sketch. I was crying for a solid hour and had nightmares for months.
As an adult, I've been able to find the lyrics to it (and maybe even the audio at one point), but never the actual sketch. It was from a Canadian comedy troupe, and I assume was on some sort of sketch comedy show back in the early/mid 80s.
But random thoughts of that still creep into my mind and I'm 41 now.
Of course now it makes me laugh, but that shite affected me for life (apparently).

Auntie Em has Dorothy committed to a mental hospital for electroshock treatment so she will stop talking about Oz. There’s lightning and a bunch of patients got brain damaged. She ends up in Oz with these weird hockey player villains, a witch who wants to cut off her head and switch it with her own, and her best friend there has a pumpkin head that’s slowly rotting. Creepy as hell.
