It's disheartening that people find it necessary to use a use a tropical storm as a backdrop for their social media posts. Think of the poor souls who lost power!

The Weather Channel frickers are worse.
They were on my corner in Mandeville reporting all day Saturday and bullshitting with us in between live reports.
Every time they were told to standby to go live they would drag the camera out into the street and the "reporter" would march down the street to the spot with water and then find the deepest spot to stand in. Meanwhile, the camera crew and the rest of us were high and dry. He would then proceed to report on "the flooding." Best part was that as the water was receding they kept having to walk farther and farther to get set up for shots.
They only hung out on our corner, instead of moving, because we were having a party and feeding them / giving them drinks.
