I know Navarre pretty well, have a b-i-l that’s lived there for about 18 years.
This certainly could have happened there, there are plenty of squirrels of all varieties amidst and amongst the military retirees who call Navarre home.

I have lived in Navarre for over 20yrs.
Not surprised, esp now as new homes are going in everywhere so you get the local junkyard/home next to a new house.
Wish you were putting in infrastructure instead of more homes.... we are over-built.
