We monitor radio waves every day from tons of telescopes on earth and in space. I think much of what you said is completely false. All radio waves travel at the speed of light, the difference being how energetic that particular wave is. Radio waves are not very energetic. Gamma rays will frick us up if they're close enough.

If you're assuming that the signal is blasting out like the sun's light in all directions, sure. Nothing says that every radio signal has to be like your local wacky morning zoo crew's broadcast, though.
Light can be highly directional. A laser is a prime example of this idea. It's fairly trivial (if you're a laser scientist and have the funding) to make a laser beam that has a higher energy density than the light the sun emits. Hell, they made a laser a billion times brighter than the sun in NEBRASKA. It can't be that hard. The total energy is tens or hundreds of orders of magnitude lower than the energy of the sun. Still, if you're in the way of the beam, you're properly fricked. Think "lighthouse" and not "streetlamp".
Tightly focused radio is how we communicate with the Voyagers. We don't just blast signals out into space in every direction. First off, half of the time, the Earth would be in between the radio transceiver and the Voyager we're trying to talk to. Second off, the transmitter would have to be ungodly powerful. Instead, we use three giant arse dishes roughly equally spread around the planet (so that at any moment at least one of them can see the Voyagers) and use a very narrow radio signal strong enough to be picked up by the Voyagers that is precisely aimed at where they are in space.
The argument you made, though, was EXACTLY the same argument made by a lot of astrophysicists when we were first trying to figure out pulsars. Once we started figuring out how far away these pulsars are, some of those guys calculated how much energy they'd have to output to be as bright as we see them at those distances and they were literally too bright to exist; yet there they were. Someone finally thought 'lighthouse, not streetlamp' and the idea of "bright but focused" was one of the keys to helping them figure it all out.

Space is big and radio waves are common, if you look long enough you will find signals all up and down the electromagnetic spectrum. Some will move too, bc shite also moves in space. The fact they heard it once and not again makes me think it’s stray RF.

Seth Shostak of the SETI Institute is the man on these things and he says it could be aliens but it could also easily be one of our satellites or even...

I’ll be the first to admit i don’t know dick about astrophysics or astronomy or whatever, but i think there just about have to be aliens. Maybe they are plants or like, idk, blobs floating around in liquid or something. We are on one planet orbiting one star, and we can only observe a small fraction of the stars in the universe. With all the stars out there, what would make you think we are the exception, the only one?
