Walking up to a couple and telling them they shouldn't be playing pool in this establishment with someone because they are black is pretty much about as trashy, rude, and racist as it gets. Everyone's entitled to their own personal sentiments and likely has anecdotal experience that contributes to them, but that's flat out disgusting behavior.
The fact that it wasn't illegal is besides the point, she deserves every bit of bad publicity she gets as a result. If it was a group of ghetto trash that you want to keep out of your bar, that's one thing. I have no sympathy for this lady as to the fallout.

The fact that they're chasing black people out ought to clue you in to the fact that it's not Churchill's.
Although Churchill's has, from time-to-time, had some racial accusations thrown their way by certain of their clientele.

I do occasionally. There's not many places in BR where you can go have a cigar and a decent bourbon. Don Juan is opening a bar next to the store in Towne Center next month. I guess that will be another option.

Correct. Most people don't understand that if they aren't state or government affiliated then the owner reserves the right to serve ANYONE they want.

My buddy's brother was in from out of town a few weeks ago and he wanted a cigar. We stopped by there after meeting up for dinner after work.
I was genuinely shocked at how heavily Democratic the customer demographic was for a random Friday Night. Not just up front for the NBA Playoffs either. In the back with some Peter, Paul and Mary type acoustic BS group (all white, no soul or charisma) singing Fleetwood Mac and Norah Jones covers by the back bar.
Just weird.
Don Juan's is much better IMO. I have a friend with a stocked locker and enjoy it much more so IMO. Much cooler crowd but more of a men's club feel to it. He's also black for you SJW types looking to melt down.
