from reading the story it sounds like Visions & She Shes will be back up soon
but Passions... seems like that's the 1 that may die forever

Wouldn’t it be funny if we could legally do this in the visions parking lot?
Have a podium with microphone and loud speakers, so people can say their goodbyes to the legendary club.
Someone could bring beer, hard liquor, and someone call the strippers. We can build an outdoor stage for just one last show. Remember we do not take money only poker chips as we are raising poker chips for the single mothers fund.
By the way red poker chips $1 donation, blue $5 donation, and white $20 donation to the single mothers fund.

Mitchs wife got it when they divorced bc he had put it in her name. Wifes friend Melanie ran it after Katrina. Havent been there in 10 years so no clue whats going on with it now

That pic is not far off. The canal you crossed driving into Village de L'Est from Chef Hwy was terraced with rice and vegetables. There was a Vietnamese Roman Catholic Church and women walking around in traditional áo dài and conical nón lá. This was late 70s early 80s. Katrina must have really hurt that community. I remember it didn't take too long for the children of the boat people to either excel academically at Kennedy or Abramson taking magma and summa in only a few years after the war, or, thug up and gangbang.

jam right bubba... although i never spent tons of nights in there, there were some dandys. i remember one night with some high roller types that knew the owner, and i remember him late one night saying frick this and locking the doors, private party.
there was also a monday night football private party thing at a little shitehole bar somewhere in the east that we used to go to where the chics from candy club would be in there. secret knock, had to be with a member, etc.
