Frank Melton was quite the mayor, used to carry a gun and wear a JPD badge. Led drug raids and all types of shite.

So middle class blacks are also culpable?

Jackson’s population has declined since 1980, a decade after the city’s schools began integrating. Many white families left for the suburbs, leaving less revenue to maintain the infrastructure. Middle class Black people then moved out to escape urban decay and rising crime. State and federal spending never made up the difference.

So they couldn't succeed without white families there? sounds pretty racist.

So the whites left because they’re racist and the blacks left to care for their families.

That makes sense.

Actually it's better than that. When whites leave it's racist. When whites move in that gentrification and that's also racist. So, move out, you're racist; move in, you're racist.

So now letting minorities become the majority and run the city is racist?

It’s not really a tax base issue. A water system charges fees for the water. It’s not tax money that supports the water system. If you have a “customer base” who refuses to pay their water bill, and the administration of the water system (City of Jackson) neglects their duties to shut off these customers who don’t pay then you have a bankrupt system. It’s mismanagement regardless of the race of the people running the system. It’s not racism, it’s not white flight, it’s not the loss of a tax base. It’s mismanagement, neglect, malfeasance and probably criminal. You can buy a lot of votes with free water you know.

It’s not a racial thing for those tired of hearing about race. It’s failure to hold the customer base responsible for paying for something them consumed. The customers have basically stolen the water and the administration hasn’t been responsible. The fact that the city of Jackson’s water system has been managed by black people for decades cannot be ignored and if that’s a racist comment then I’m guilty.

How would this work out if you didn’t pay your phone, cable, electric or bar tab?

Jackson entered a death spiral of diminishing tax base decades ago as money flowed out.

But what do democrats expect?

They try to force social integration and expect everything to be hunky dory. It’s ideology.

Now they pay the price
