Seems like "Denise" is the go-to middle name for crazy black women.

There is a very long list of musicians having underage relationships.

ETA: Not sure of the downvotes. I'm not condoning it. I'm just pointing out that we don't knock Jimmy Page, Elvis, or other famous rock stars for their underage antics.

In all, Kelly could face decades in prison at sentencing, which is scheduled for May 4.

They're really getting in a hurry on that, huh?

Him and his thug entourage started a riot at Red's because they lost to a bunch of slow white boys running 4 on 4 on the 1st court. I was there but in the main lobby by the grill and racquetball area. Red Lerrill and Lafayette basically banned them from the city for life as he also did some stupid shite that night at his concert at the Cajun Dome. Can't remember the details of the concert but I definitely remember that POS getting schooled on the basketball court. Bobby Novaced with KSMB 94.5 was one of the white boys on the other team that busted them up in the paint down low.

Not having nearly so good a time this week was singer R. Kelly. A federal judge in Lafayette, Louisiana, issued a warrant for his arrest on Wednesday, after he failed to appear for a deposition date in a civil suit filed against him over an incident that occurred last July, when Kelley was in town to play the Louisiana Cajundome. Prior to that show, Kelly and members of his entourage got involved in a brawl at a local gym, for which the singer and four of his colleagues were charged with both felony and misdemeanor battery. One local man -- who required 110 stitches to close cuts on his face after the encounter -- has hit Kelly with a civil suit, too. Kelly's criminal trial is scheduled to start on July 28th. If convicted of felony battery, he could face up to five years in jail.

Yep, but here's the thing with Bobby Novasad and the other 3 dudes that worked with him at the radio station. They were regulars at Red's as Bobby would do 94.5 in the morning and have this lunch break from like 10am to 2pm every day, so all they did was play ball. It was winning team stays on the court type format, 4 v 4 play to 15 by single point buckets only. Bobby and his crew were not super athletic, but they played like the 80's Celtics with ball control and swing passes to wide open shots or work it down low. So when R Kelly and his 3 inner city Chicago idiots got embarrassed like 15 to 5 to Bobby, they started a riot and there were reports of brandishing a firearm etc. The second that dipshit's concert ended that night, their bus was personally escorted out of town with a restraining order to never step foot in Lafayette again.

C Denise Marcelle once gave R Kelly the key to the city. Pissed off a lot of people. In this case though, better to get pissed off than pissed on. Way to go Denise Marcelle.

Her reasoning for it is laughable. I mean, I'm sure her and 4 or 5 of her homegirls mysteriously got front row seats to the show but that has nothing to do with it

Concert didn’t happen. After they broke several facial bones in the innocent dude at Red’s he fled the state, leaving his entire tour production behind. Lawyers for the Cajun Dome and Judge Duplantier (I think) sequestered all of the equipment and 18 wheelers due to the breach of the contract to perform.

He paid everyone off to get out of it. Still should have done time.

Didn't Chappelle do that skit like 15 years ago!

Well, the Chappelle skit was about pissing and shitting on people which isn't illegal if they are willing. The Chapelle skit did not take into account the people R Kelly was shitting on were minors.
