If that's true why is Louisiana #3 in per capita infections? It's already warm here.

It wasn’t two weeks ago when the people infected today likely acquired the virus.

it's not positive or real news. viruses and bacteria thrive in warm, humid environments. the op is either joking or retarded.

As of Wednesday there were more than 450 confirmed cases of the coronavirus in Australia, according to local health authorities. That's up from just over 100, a little more than one week previous.

ed, you and your podnuhs are having some fun with the OP. Simple search shows that the virus does not die in "warmer" temperatures, but it transfers much more slowly.

Pump the brakes Frankie, that's what they said about HIV.

Viruses aren't a living organism, so lets pump the breaks on the virus "living" inside the human body or outside.

Inside the body, the virus enters host cells and reproduces itself. Outside of the body, there are no host cells to attack, so it just sits there. Certain things in the environment (such as UV radiation) can alter the genetic structure of the virus, in effect "killing" it.

The spread can be slowed during the summer if UV radiation can damage the virus. You'll be less likely to get the virus from touching a surface, but can still get it from someone coughing/sneezing in your vicinity. It won't be stopped just because it's hot.

You cracked the code! We just have to heat all homes and public buildings to 90 degrees for 2 weeks. The we can crank up the A... oh wait, you said dormant, not kill

It doesnt do well in that environment. Global warming actually will save us.

Global warming? It happens every year around this time.

Louisiana warming? Now that’s a different story. It happens anytime it wants.
