Yea, it is $20k at LSU if you live on campus.

Add another $4k if you get a meal plan.

That doesn’t even touch on extraneous expenses, like books, which many professors mandate the purchase of.

He claimed he worked for DOL or BLS.

I'm assuming he either got fired from there (because he spends about 10-14 hours a day glued to social media) or it was a lie.

Even odds on those two because addicts are notorious liars.

In state tuition at A&M is like 12k before expenses. The only universe where college is that cheap is at a CC or some kind of trade school

Then it is probably more expensive.

How much do you think rent is around Baton Rouge?

LSU is the same.

It increases with expenses, obviously.

What is average rent around aTm?

Throw $1k per month on top of that for living off campus. That is already $24k a year.

Probably. Which is Why we had roommates, some lived with parents, etc.

It was a poor neighborhood, we learned how to get by. One of the benefits of survival.

Lol no. I’m a bridge structural engineer and work with about 80% Asian. They all want to work from home. Asians like to do their work in peace and we constantly get the old timer that has been there forever and wants to chit chat everybody’s ear off.

Apartments with roommates account for that, dude.

An apartment that has 3 roommates charges 3x the rent to account for it.

Do you know how it works?

Correct, which youre paying whether you're going to school or not.

You said no one could pay for school and work full time today, that's bullshite. My youngest daughter did 7 years ago.

but youre definitely not changing your mind.

When I was in school it was anywhere between 650 to 750 on the cheap end. I bet it could easily get up to over 1k for current students with how HAM developers are going in BCS

Bet its the same around campus in baton rouge

When I went to lsu rent was stupid expensive. Legit shitholes were in the 500-550/month range per bedroom while you're "typical" college apartment was 700-800.

I went to a different SEC school post grad and lived in wayyy nice apartments for cheaper.
