I was at the one on Flat Shoals Parkway yesterday evening, in South Dekalb. That area is about 95% black, but that gas station runs better than any Louisiana business I've ever dealt with.
The QT's on both Jonesboro Rd/Forest Pkwy in Forest Park and Riverdale Rd.in College Park are the same way. Both areas are probably 90% black.

I wonder what they think of all the tax breaks Buc-ee's is getting - didn't hear about QT getting anything.
The Buc-ee's announcement killed two other large gas station projects along I-20 that I know of. I'm still betting it doesn't get built for at least 5 years.

Unpopular opinion.
The newer Racetracks in Louisiana are damn solid places to stop. Usually they are reasonably clean. Very different from the older locations from the same chain.
It doesn’t have the food options that Sheetz Bros had when I lived in PA. But otherwise very similar. Kwik Trip is a huge brand in Wisconsin. It’s like a thing over there.

Free air for the tires is an added perk.

Why would saying Racetracs are nice be unpopular?

Loved QT’s… would always stop at the one in Villa Rica on the way to Atlanta as the one last major stop to get gas and pee before traffic picks way up on into the Atlanta metro

Wawa has the best gas station sandwiches.

They've expanded into the Carolinas, mostly the 85 corridor.
Seems like they may be expanding more in SC. There is one in Columbia and they are building one on I95 in Dillion.
