My 1st. Will be 24 years in October. We dated for 3 years before that. We talk. We maintain communication and compromise where we can and understand that marriage, much like anything in life, is a partnership and a team game. You have to remember that you're not always right. I think the thing that glues us together, besides Bondo, is that we are best friends and have maintained like interests. Talking and compromise, my man. That is the key.

1st lasted 3.5 years, don't plan on having a second. Current gf is cool and doesn't want to get married again either, at least for now lol

I'm on my first. 12 years this fall.
It's a challenge.
We did not start dating until our mid 20s and we dated for three years before marriage, including living together for a year and a half.

I hope this thread drives home the point to the whiny bitches in height, IQ, ACT score, income, etc. threads that participation bias skews the answers away from the average.
