Cobalt is awesome, but can be a bit pricey
Shrimp Basket can be Ok for simple seafood and priced OK

It's all tourist traps. None of that shite you eat down there is local seafood. Drive about 20 minutes up 59 and hit up the Tin Top off country road 10 down in Bon Secour.

It's called the gulf shores steamer. There is one right next to the shrimp basket and then there is one farther down in OB in SanRoc Cay Marina. They have great food. We go there at least once every time we go to town.

It's decent. But yea it's not on par with a Chimes or Roux 61 in BR as nothing is over $20. But they have raw oysters and big arse poboys.
Baton Rouge is getting one next to Rum House(old McCallisters).

Shipps Harbor grill is the best fish I've ever had. Anywhere. But they had a fire and will be closed a few weeks. Cosmos is solid. Cobalt too.
