Any tricks on keeping your dogs breathe smelling nice? After 10 years my dogs all of a sudden got the stanky breathe.

To be fair to your dog, everything in Houma eventually ends up smelling like shite.

Could be a sign of an underlying health issue. We got our dogs teeth cleaned by the vet in Nov and wow! her breath is a thousand times better

Shot in the dark here, but clean their teeth. Bad breath is a sign of decay. Mine get greenies once or twice a week. If I see any buildup I'll brush their teeth. If the brushing is insufficient I'll give them a tarter spray/gel for a few days then brush again. Helps if you start them as puppies obviously.

We use a water additive we got at PetCo.

Have their teeth clean. Really. Good chance they have a few rotting teeth. That stink is a sure sign.

Oxyfresh Pet Oral Hygiene Solution - $16.49 (Amazon)
some have said it could be poor oral hygiene and rotting teeth. maybe, but dogs like some humans can get dry mouths with old age and their breath will smell even if they have good teeth and don't eat their own shite. our 4 year old greyhound did (before she passed)

Pig ears. They are like doggie floss.

LOL at how fast the two 'teach them not to eat their own shite" appeared.

It means they probably have a dead tooth or one that broke off and the root is rotting. Dogs are great at carrying on with life and won’t let you know when they are in pain.
