Can the third row comfortably seat adults, and if so, could it comfortably seat them on a long drive?

Or are they like other SUV's, where the third row isn't really suitable for people over 5 feet tall or so?

It’s ok for a trip to a restaurant but a long drive would get old.

Yukon XL, for reference.

Does the Yukon XL have and difference in 3rd row seating room? Looks like a bigger trunk but not seeing how it’d be more or less comfortable

It’s going to be the same.

I’m 6 foot and can fit back there fine but I’d get stir crazy over 30 minutes. Your knees sit too high.

We have taken some 7-10 hour trips with adults in the 3rd row of a Yukon XL and had no issues. Not as comfortable as the second row captains chairs but not bad. Throw in the drop down TV monitors and it’s not a bad way to drive.

Why would you cram more than 4 adults in one vehicle for a long road trip?

Take 2 cars or rent a party van.

We decided we prefer the camaraderie afforded by a single vehicle for this road trip.

I assumed even the largest SUV would be too confining, but I thought I would ask. I'll probably get a Sprinter or something, then.
