Without second row captains seats, the third row of the Yukon is too confining for me. It’s ok across town, but not for adults on a long trip. We used to have a Suburban with captain chairs and now have a Yukon XL with second row bench.

Rode from Houma to Brownsville TX in the 3rd row of a Suburban. Wasn't pleasant but I survived I guess.

Depends on the year. 2014 and older no problem, raised seat bottom. 2015 and newer, seat bottom very low
