Question for the folks in Arizona

I am in PHX every month for work, but pretty much outside of taking in an occasional Dbacks game, I am working and then back in the hotel.
I am bringing my wife with me this week and we wanted to visit an area outside of PHX on Friday. We only have one day (Friday) to visit an area
What are your suggestions?
1. Sedona area
2. Tucson and south
3. Try to visit one of the old abandoned cowboy towns
4. Another suggestion
Thanks

Sedona is the only option IMO

So Sedona makes the panties drop?

Cosmo....bringing the old lady. After 35+ years, the panties don't drop like they use to.....laughing
Hey, you tried the Totally Awesome on the Love Bugs?
To the other posters, thanks for the suggestions, very much appreciated

That stuff wont ruin my paint/clear coat?
Posted on 5/16/15 at 9:47 pm to Cosmo
Cosmo it has not harmed the paint job or clear coating on my vehicle or RV. If you are concerned about the effect on your paint job, just use it on the windshield

Jim, thanks for the suggestion. Looking at a map, we can visit Jerome first and then take 89A to Sedona and up to Flagstaff before taking I-17 south back to Phoenix.

I'm gonna be that guy and say I don't love Sedona. It's Gatlinburg for New Agers. Jerome is much better, IYAM
Apples & oranges, both are well worth a visit and Sedona is stunning. Here is my dining recommendation in Sedona:

Hit up Flaggstaff then drive the back way to Sedona. View is amazing going down to Sedona

Ugh why would you do this. Nothing worse on the OT than all of the Arizona posters in one place.

I have a couple questions for you before giving you my recs.
1) Do you only plan on going for the day and then come back to Phx, or can you stay a night?
2) What is your budget for dinner and will you be drinking alcohol with the meal?
3) Has she been out to Phx before?

If you really were here and didn't hit me up you suck

Honestly, I feel like the town (restaurants & shops) have become touristy. It's worth I drive through, but I recommend visiting Flagstaff. You could drive to the top of Mount Humphreys. We just got snow, so it's beautiful.
I live here, though, so I am a little biased. Also like another poster recommended. Jerome is another really cool, unique town to visit.
