Mine is a gymnast and cheerleader though. Not one of those weirdo softball or volleyball girls. Much better locker room pool.

Fighting this right now, and it's causing a rift in our relationship. not because of any diversity issue, shes just an a-hole who treats my son like a possession and it hurts to see him with someone who doesnt want the best for him, but I'm slowly learning that railing against it just makes him caught between the two of us, and some lessons you have to learn on your own, no matter how much it hurts. Its hard to see your kid hurt, its harder to see them settle for less than what they are worth, but to see your child treated badly and not be able to stop it? thats the worst thing ever.

My prayer and hope for them as their mother is that they find a job that they enjoy doing, that they can support themselves while doing said job, that they stay true to themselves and their morals/values. I pray that they experience peace and remain healthy.

I have been trying to be as polite as possible this last month or so, in the hopes that as long as she's still treating him bad at least it takes me out of the equation and she cant blame her bad behavior on me.

Is he a teenager? If so, that might be the problem. He thinks he knows it all while thinking you, his mother, doesn't know anything.. Or maybe doing it just because you do not approve..
