Churchill is only the third non-Royal to receive a state funeral. I was just reading about Churchill’s funeral and kind of laughing about it since Churchill planned it all out himself. He called it “Operation Hope Not” and had to revise it several times over the course of 12 years because the pallbearers kept dying. Oh he was a character.
