As far as high schools/regions, what are they? Mandeville, Covington, Zachary, Haughton, West Monroe, Barbe, Sam Houston (Moss Bluff)? Are the Gonzales schools still solid? Sulphur? Denham Springs? Any others?

The whole north shore seems solid. Does that extend to Hammond and Slidell, or just schools between them?

I’ve found in Ouachita Parish for high schools by and large are ok you just have to take AP/ Honors / Gifted classes. It’s essentially two different schools in the same building.

Yes. Though I'd avoid the trash at EA.

All the public schools would be great if government would only fund them more.

Isn't it in the top 30 schools in the state overall?

Good chance your kid doesn't come out with the opiod and speed addictions of a Dutchtown kid either.

Yep. I believe they had the most of any non-magnet public in the state.
