Ponchatoula used to be decent public school. Sadly, I've heard that's no longer the case

Lafayette HS is regarded as one of the better public schools in the parish. The new south side HS is nice but idk how they are doing academically yet

St. Amant is the best school in AP. Really good academics and STA athletics is arguably the best in the parish.

Northshore had several national merit finalists this year

Northshore High in Slidell cranks out 5-6 National Merit Finalists every year and is usually the top public (non-magnet) school in the state.

Wrong.

The only thing Douchetown has going for them is academics. They aren’t good in athletics anymore and that’s mainly due to the fact that they can’t recruit people from Baton Rouge and NOLA anymore.

If you go to Douchetown, you get a quality education but at the same time you will become a douchebag and a cocky bastard who does meth.

Go to St Amant, you get a quality education, can be apart of some pretty good athletic programs, have an entire town that supports you with a large alumni base, and you don’t become a cocky bastard.
