Surprise surprise. A government agency abuses its power, overreaches with its authority, and takes money from citizens using highly questionable means.

Dude, where was the outrage when Dick with ears, Obama not only extended the Homeland security act, but put even worse shite in there. Until some one from his own party let it spill and he backtracked, he had it in there that the Government could drone strike targets in America.

He did get it in there, where they can keep Americans held in jail, for as long as they want, with out having any charges issued.

No one but a few cried back when the first one was signed by Dickhead Bush, they were called chicken little's, No one but a few cried when dickhead Obama made it even worse, but a few and were called chicken little's.

Now, you are beginning to see even more and more of how asinine and stupid that act is for Americans and their rights.

This road started 90 years ago when wiretapping via warrant was deemed constitutional.

The average citizen too often thinks no big deal I am not doing anything wrong so they don't oppose measures like this.

Liberty has a cost but most people today just think they can have their cake and eat it too.

This.

There are subjects that I would not type into a google search, because nobody wants to be on a government list somewhere, and we are at a point where that feels normal. On the one hand, I have to think even 20-30 years ago that would have made people feel pretty uneasy. On the other hand, it beats the hell out of going off-grid.

I don't know how many times I have flinched when about to Google something as a result of an OT thread, sometimes I stop but the times I go forward I always think I can point to the OT thread in my history to explain it if I ever need too.

I think the biggest concern of mine is people that end up on a list that they don't know about and losing a job/job opportunity or a contract and never know why. Going through life thinking you are snakebit but just ended up on a list because you bought a money counter, electronic scale, ammonium nitrate or some drug precursor would suck.

During the same period, however, bulk purchaser data helped the DEA seize $48 million in cash, $4 million in real estate, 88 vehicles, and 179 firearms, as well as nearly 1,500 pounds of cocaine and over 21,300 pounds of marijuana.

That’s after they kept enough for their own personal use

Our HOA purchased a money counter for all the cash we’ve confiscated through civil asset forfeiture by setting up road blocks with DUI checkpoints and random stops for going over 20mph.

Literally could have been me. I purchased a couple of money counters during that time. I bought them on behalf of my employer, but my name was on the orders. I’m glad my name is in some government database from a job I haven’t had in nearly 6 years.

Not trying to excuse it, but it seems like our Federal law enforcement is just plain lazy.

Lazy is ok. It's the zealous ones that come up with shite like this that are very dangerous.

When this is the shite that goes on with a card carrying ACLU dick smoking president. Imagine the shite that the more right leaning fricks do when they are in power. Drain the swamp.
