Oh, I won’t let the person in front of me push their seat back.
They will push it back and I will push forward.
frick those people. I’m 6’8, I can’t fit in seating as it is. I ain’t going to let no snot nosed brat make me more uncomfortable

Dont care what people think. I hate it myself. There is very little room when its done
I know its there for a reason
In my option, the airlines should remove that option
If you do it in front of me, I will knee the shite our of your seat till you put it back up
Sorry for being a dick

Mmm, I’ve been able to keep people so far. I haven’t seen a time yet when I couldn’t. But sure, I can’t predict I will always be 100% effective

I'm tough to wake up. So all that may happen is you will end up getting sore knees and i'll eventually move my seat up after i wake up when my ears pop on the descent.

Yall a bunch of pansies. If my flight is more than 2 hours that seat is going all the way back. Hell, now that I know so many of you get your panties in a twist I'll do it every time now

If you smoke on a plane you are subject to be arrested and fined. The reason commercial planes still have ashtrays in the lavatory is to provide a place to properly extinguish a cigarette in case someone decides to break the law and smoke anyway. A cigarette improperly extinguished could ignite the plane causing tragic, fiery death to everyone on board.
Smoking: Arrest, fine, possibly firey death.
Reclining seat: Annoying.
Not really an apples to apples comparison there.

A 6’8” snowflake...kind of impressive

Dude I don’t care if your an 8 footer, if I’m hungover on a Sunday flight that chair is going in your lap. I pay just the same and I’m taking my available space. If you get upset over people leaning back then plan your row better
If not, keep crying and let me see if I stop using my chair space

Hmmm
Learn something everyday on here.
All makes sense though. So much in common.

Sorry for the bruised knees. At least it will match your ego.

I don't really get it
It's not much more comfortable and it's annoying.

As a matter of principle if it's a short flight or I'm flying during the day (not a time anyone would normally sleep) I try not to do a full-recline. I'll lean back enough that it's more comfortable, but I don't want to be all over the person behind me. I don't like when people do that just for the sake of it so I try not to be that guy.
I just think society functions better when people aren't inconsiderate.

Its fair game. Nothing's stopping him from kneeing your seat or coughing on your head thats in his lap

I started a similar thread a couple of months ago from some random airport during a layover. I was just looking for people's opinions after a bad experience with this.
My personal experience is that SOME United planes are super cramped and literally dont allow room to move back any while other planes I have been on offer a little more leg room. #2to3inchesmatter
